Are You looking for Podcasts to listen for news and updates about BIM, Construction Technology and the broader AEC sector?

On a recent bike ride, we were discussing podcasts and which ones we enjoy listening to. Of course, we don’t tune in while out cycling. I usually listen on my way to work in the car, or to saved episodes while I’m travelling.

For me, variety is important. So, I’m currently following 40 different podcasts. Some are related to BIM, others to construction technology, a few are more general and a few are to get a different perspective. I listen daily on my way to work and always learn something new or insightful.

This article provides links to the hosts podcast website, their Linkedin profile, Spotify and Apple Podcast channels. You can pick which ones to listen to and perhaps follow for regular episodes.

I’ve also been fortunate to have joined a few podcasts as a guest in the past. I’ll share links to those episodes at the end of this article.

My request – when You find a podcast you like, follow them, subscribe, and make sure you give them a positive review or rating on whichever platform you are using. You can also share their latest podcast with your colleagues and friends. Podcasts are a great way to learn and share knowledge.

Why should we listen to and share these podcasts?

More people should listen and learn from the hosts and their guests.

Having tried, and failed, to develop a podcast show a few years ago, I know how much effort it takes to find guests, schedule interviews to record a podcast, do the editing, upload the discussion and promote your podcast to increase your subscriber base.

These 40 shows are succeeding and we can all learn from them. The podcasts are divided into 4 topics, BIM, Construction Technology (ConTech), General Construction and my personal interests.

They are listed in Alphabetical order. I’ve not ranked them or scored them. I suggest you pick the shows that sound interesting… listen to a few episodes and Follow them for regular updates.

Enjoy 😉
